Oak stain I have a white oak wood cabinet that is showing it's age a bit. What is the best way to give it a new lease of life. If I sand it back what type of stain. varnish or polyurethane would be best. I don't want it too dark. thanks. |

Spraying Roses I read or was told awhile ago that you can mix copper and oil together when you spray your roses in winter. I was just wondering if this is true and do you mix them at the same rate as you would if you were spraying them individually. Thanks |

Mattress sliping of base I have tried glueing non skid rubbery stuff on the base and mattress but it has rubbed of the mattress. I was thinking about getting some small pieces of wood and drilling them to the base to stop the mattress being able comeing off the base. |

Ceiling batten spacing question. Ceiling is 35 degrees with 150mm beams at 1100mm centres. I want to fix ceiling battens (finger jointed 75x 40mm) under the beams and 10mm gib . What spacing should I fix the battens at? any advice much appreciated. |
