Central locking car doors

There is a problem with one door not responding so this one door needs to be locked and unlocked either with a key or manually from the Inside who can repair, mechanic or locksmith? Or possibly even me?

Mechanic or panel beater should be able to fix this.

Probably better answered in motoring. An auto electrician would be the trade to fix it.
A wiring diagram for your model car is helpful, or a YouTube search for your particular model. If there is no response on one door, and there isnt an individual fuse for that door there is a high likelihood of a wire being broken , or a faulty connection. If you know how to trace basic circuits it is worth attempting a repair yourself. Take off the door liner and firstly do a visual inspection to see any obvious damage. You can then find the wires that go to the actuator and test for current there when the remote is used. If there is current then the actuator itself may be faulty.

I'd get a panel beater to look at it.

auto sparkie or mechanic.
most likely its the actuator. but can also easily be wiring (broken in the flex join) or relay.
a panel beater is only going to give it to the auto sparkie to fix.

panel beater I know fixes electric windows and central locking.

Try the Listing #: 2003760586 on here. This guy works from a mobile van and will come to your house or workplace, is very efficient and his charges are very reasonable. I have had him do a couple of window actuators exactly as you describe, and the cost each time was from memory about $65 - $70. A very obliging guy. He does a lot of this kind of work for dealers getting cars ready for sale.

Hi, just out of interest , what type of car do you have? Not a VW by any chance?

Just had my Honda fixed as it was doing this. Just the drivers door, started not unlocking occasionally then could only unlock with key. It cost me $300 at mechanics.
