These are off cuts that need a mitre to fit around a outdoor chimney. I was thinking off using a grinding wheel (bench) and run them along that? Thanks for any advice.

Masonry or diamond wheel in an angle grinder. There is a tungsten carbide cutting wire that will fit in a hacksaw frame.

grinder or tile saw with the correct blade, hacksaw thing would drive you mad and take forever

Angle grinder with 100mm diamond cutting blade. Blades are quite cheap now. Less than $10.
