Yep got mine at one of those $2 type shops in Avondale. Fitted the glass lid of my slow cooker a treat.

I have had spares for my baccarrat brand of pots hanging round for years. They came with the set! Bought in aussie. im sure when i need one theyll be lost. hazards of moving house frequently! But i got a grosvenor egg poacher from flybuys and the knob lost its thread before 10 uses. i glued it for now. Dangerous with hot steam if it falls apart.

How does a knob lose its thread! One presumes it came loose and was put back wrongly .crossed thread.

Well not that I was aware of.I very much doubt I cross threaded it. That would have been obvious. More like the thing crumbled to bits.Couldnt stand the heat.

Well you did say "it lost its thread"which is a strange situation.
