Use it, it fruits prolifically first and second season, then usually dies back. Great fruit.

If you scroll down a bit on this page person in Australia had same question but it does fruit apparently but not like the banana passion fruit we know.
Not all Passiflora are fruiting or edible, some are just ornamental and they do have the most striking flowers. Have a lovely one at work but it won't set seed and I so would like to grow it.
