Anyone know what this weed is?

- maple shaped and same appearance leaves approx 15-20cm wide
- celery like stalk
- has sprung up out of nowhere and after 2 weeks some are 2ft tall
- has completely covered an area of around 60m2 after earthworks were done

i notice Apple of Peru has black stems but this has green. Looks very much like it though.

Thornapple (Datura stramonium). Often comes up after ground disturbance. Very long-lived seed.
