Wife has a lot of big pots, earthenware and ceramic. Full of colour, yuka’s etc. look nice but after moving a few I notice the pine decking is rotting beneath each one She stands them in plastic trays, even glass microwave plates but no circulation at all, hence rot. Any tips to raise them allowing air to keep deck from rotting. Thanks.

Couple of pieces of treated 3x1 painted (all four sides) same as deck, under each pot should do the trick. (you may have to turn them maybe once a year)

I place 3 or 4 milk bottle lids under my pots, keeps them off the deck, dry with good circulation, free and no problems yet.
Decking timber is H3 so needs to breath. Blocking air is akin to in-ground use.

That's an excellent idea. You could even make them by buying the microwave turntables from the refuse stations/recycle places and gluing the milk bottle tops to the bottom.

I have a shelving unit on my kitchen bench raised on just those feet. Been there for five years now with no issues, despite the occasional water spill. Surprisingly strong little things.
