Did anyone happen to recall a fail proof ant killer Ruud talked about with a listener on a recent resident builder show on Sunday morning. Was a about a month ago. Appreciate ANY help. Thanks.

If you google Ruud and ant killer several links come up that mention his recipe.

Thanks for that I had tried several times to Google with several different search words and never saw any "recipes" from Ruud.

There is no such thing as a fail proof ant killer.
There are only things that set them back from time to time.

It all depends what kind of ants they are too, white foot ants don't share throughout the nest.

The radio station may have saved the interview. Go to their website and put Ruud's name in the search box

Not directly. "Only one part of the colony forages for food and unlike most other species, they don’t regurgitate the food they have eaten to the non-foraging ants. Instead, they digest the food and produce trophic eggs (unfertilised eggs) that are consumed by the rest of the colony (adult and larvae), or stock piled for future use. These eggs are poison free, which is why bait will not eliminate white-footed ant colonies." http://antman.net.nz/ants-in-new-zealand/

One of these perhaps?
http://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/search/?term=Ruud+Kleinpaste Opps interviews, so not listener conversations sorry. Perhaps ask his fan mail agent for info?

Though my favourite go to is Never Wrong. So far it hasn't let me down - but it is only a temporary fix as a new lot usually move in to replace the deaded ones!
