I don't know what it is but I like it.

It looks like Pratia (probably Pratia angulata)
It's quite a nice little NZ native groundcover but often comes up in lawns and people generally get rid of it then as it's not grass.

This is a hardy ground cover only about 10mm thick. I do not remember if it had flowers last summer but if it did they are minimal. The pictures I viewed on google for Pratia angulata show a plant with much more foliage growing to 1m

Got a similar leaf to Fuchsia procumbens.

If your picture was perhaps a little larger and more in focus it would help

Looks like ficus pumila to me

Yes I think you may be correct. I never thought of it as a fuschia

I do not know what this is, but I do know, it is not Fuschia procumbens which has a heart shaped leaf with a smooth edge.

I can not say. I have only been on this property for a year but failed to notice the flower this summer.

Is it a thick dense mat that sends roots down at the nodes?

p.monro, Nov 14, 11:17am
The plant forms a dense mat. It spreads by runners above the ground which form roots at frequent intervals. The picture shows part of one runner
