Our metro euro ped is installed with a Eco flue kit and a Eco option kit, ever since we had it when u open the door smoke pours into the room. We have done everything tried just about every type of cowl, extended the flue nothing helps, and u can't have the fire going slowly either otherwise the house stinks of smoke, we are thinking as a last option maybe completely remove the Eco flue and fit a fully standard flue kit ! What do u reckon! We are ready to throw the lot away and buy a different fire.

What shape is the roof and where is the flue on the roof! On our roof when there was a wind, the roof caused higher air pressure at the cowl and smoke to go down into the building. We fixed it by making sure a window was open on the windward side, and fitted a saucer type cowl, like two large saucers facing each other. When it's windy the wind sucks the smoke out.

The air tight issue is a good one .wont take much to fix .
Ethos get around this by bringing the heat down a pipe inside the flue , preheating the air is a bonus

Hey Otis,You should stop by the SGA ofcife on the second floor of the student center and talk to an SGA member. Your role during the first meeting is minimal. You would get asked why you want to join, and be asked to give a brief personal statement. If you're ratified into the senate, you would have to attend senator training where all your questions about your role would be answered. Stop by the SGA ofcife and ask, whoever is there would gladly help. -Roman
