Sorry for bumping an old thread but just wanted to say thank you!
I have this same machine (same model) and am having the same error code issue. Thanks very much for the links -- we were almost there with our own internet searching but this thread just made it a whole lot easier.
Bit late to start on it now but will take a look tomorrow and see if we can resolve the problem.

I have had this happen several times with different washing machines, It goes right thru the cycle no problem till the spin and just sits there doing nothing and after a while beeps. Any simple things I can try to fix it myself! It's not unbalanced although if I can't fix it soon I may well be.

Please post the model number (GW507, MW059, IW509 or whatever)! When it sits and beeps there should be some LEDs on the top row of 8 lit up. Post which ones are lit (e.g. 1st, 3rd & 8th or 1st, 7th and 8th or whatever) and we'll try and diagnose for you!

Ok so its now beeping. The 3rd green led light is lit up(wash), the orange led(rinse) and the red (spin) one.
If anyone can help diagnose the problem for me that would be great :-)
Those LEDs are an error code of 00100101 = 37 which is a 'Pump block error' It's likely you have a stray sock or a bra wire or similar blocking the pump.
Note that it could also be a blocked 'diverter valve'
