I love reading this thread because it inspires me to go out the following day and do whatever you have been doing the day before.

I've just planted some silverbeet seedlings - my stepfather bought too many so gave me the rest.
we had a good bit of rain this morning too, so good day to get something planted.

edited to add: I've just picked and eaten the last of the blueberries. They were tiny but oh, so tasty!Concentrated flavour due to the drought, I guess.

Pulled out 2 tomato plants, watched everything else growing.
Waterblasted the water tank.

Woo hoo we had rain overnight. So my loosened soil with compost dug in has plumped up nicely. Good to see it isn't hydophobic. Now to see what kind of weeds sprout before I layer in some sheep poo and put in my first winter vegies. I've a couple of punnets of spinach standing by.

all the tomatoes that fell off during summer have all sprouted - got baby tomatoes coming up everywhere!I ripped out my tomatoes, they were looking too sad.Getting slaughtered by white butterflies at the moment, so I've just put shade cloth over a half mussel buoy and filled it with compost and bok choy and wombok seeds.mmmmmmbeetroots are in too

Not much, I picked some cabbage, cauli, and silverbeet leaves for the chooks, and pulled some sweet baby carrots for our tea.Man sawed down a problem lancewood, oh yea and I watered the newly planted silverbeet.Don't want to look too hard at the beetroot, as I hate bottling it

Dead headed flowers in my half wine barrels. Zinnias, Black eyed Susan and cosmos all still looking great even though they only get a bit of used vegetable cleaning water now and again.
