New kitchen what colour would

What is a practical colour, not white/ cream for cupboards, a colour that will hide the day to day workings of a kitchen. The walls at this stage are terracotta. So may keep that colour or may go to a light mushroom/tea.

I have white cupboards, I think having the dirt visible is a bonus, I can find it to remove it.

I'm a mucky cook, and I've always found that easy clean surfaces in white are very practical. As Jhan said - the dirt is visible and easy to remove.
However, if you're keeping the terracotta walls, some sort of light-coloured timber like beech might be good. It's your kitchen, and you live with it, so it has to be your preference.

Beige or grey will show marks less.but I have a white kitchen and Ialsoreally like being able to see it when it's dirty.

I'd go with those choices.the tea perhaps.

I'd go for white every time .kitchen cabinetry is the expensive part (apart from plumbing) & when you get tired of the décor it's easier & cheaper to change splash backs, wall colour & accent colours than the whole joinery bit.
All kitchen cupboards need a wipe over reasonably regularly, no matter what the colour.
