we wash plastered houses all the time - because we paint em all the time -get a 1500 psi pressure washer (not a 5000psi blaster) from a hardware store for $150.00 - load the soap dispenser with resene house wash ( a slightly akali product) and it'll be all done in an hour. If you're paint can't stay on using 1500psi washer you should think about repainting. Good on you for keeping the paint clean tho - your efforts will be rewarded in the longevity of your paint coat

i often spray with bleach and leave it for a day before washing it down with a water blaster.

Wondering about mixing up some xy12 (chlorine) and knapsack spraying the exterior of the house to clean off dirty, moss, etc. Should it then be washed off! or left to weather with the elements!

Is it wind blown dust and dirt or mould and mildew on the plaster walls! I suggest you just use a House & Roof Wash - mix with water according to directions- and spray on and use a soft bristle broom to rub well into the surface and soft wash with hose to clean it all off. This will clean the surface of bird poops, dirt, pollen etc. Moss and mould need more to clean it all off and would use as you suggested then - but please wash off after 12 hours - this will kill the 'baby mould' that isn't always removed [hides in the plaster] but grows on to 'grunge' again, and again.

nah, dont want to use a water blaster. paint etc seems ok under the moss so was just looking to clean it.

Only on a surface that won't be munted by the water pressure - metal roof or concrete block! Most of the time too much strong pressure from the water blaster causes damage - people are a bit too keen to 'blast' the surface. What is wrong with a garden hose and soft brush attachment -you can only wash the surface that way not rip a hole to China.
