Must be super reasonably new - if no-one can even remember when it was purchased!

unplug it - leave it for 30 minutes - plug back in and see if that helps

Are you the landlord or the tenant?

That's a bummer, but in some ways a physical fault is better than an undiagnosable electronic fault. Soldering Iron and double shrinkwrap sleeves spring to mind.

It's a Bunnings special. You could try the CGA, it'll be out of warranty but should last longer than that. Goods should also be fit for purpose. If you replace buy either F&P, LG, Beko or Bosch.

. I think it's a 3 yr warranty . looking for the receipt .
Bosch slimline (the correct size ) is about 1800 dollars , the bellini is 500

A landlord might be able to fix appliances in his own home but has to leave it to professionals to fix anything electrical in his rentals.

We have an annoying habit of dating our new equipment, even lightbulbs! It makes it easy to decide if itβs out of warranty and is interesting to see how long things last ( or not) too.

π π€. I mean dating as in writing 2.11.2020 in permanent marker π

Well you've buggered your warranty now then - by dismantling any of it, the vendor will likely say that you may have modified or attempted to repair it.
