Looking for a slimline 45cm dishwasher ~ have found Parmco and POLO do these, but was wondering whether anyone has or has had a Parmco or POLO and can tell us what they're like. Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't go near POLO. Parmco are imported and rebadged but tend to have quite good back up from the importer who is NZ based and operated for 30 years. As a retailer we've always had good results from Parmco.

Haier do one andI believe Asko used to and may still do.

Polo can be difficult to get parts for. I don't know who imported them. Parmco appliances tend to be fairly reliable but their parts prices are very high.

Award, Parmco, De Dietrich, Miele, Bosch, Haier, Trieste, DeLonghi all do one.

Personally wouldn't buy Bosch (overpriced and not great) or Trieste (cheap and nasty). But the rest are usually okay from a retailers point of view in terms of reliability and service and support.

We had a Parmco dishwasher in our last place and it was great! However we had troubles with the Parmco oven, so don't rate the brand overall.
