Dishwasher falling forwards

wendalls, Dec 5, 2:54am
Turns out that screws have broken off and are stuck in cabinetry which are holding it upright in the cavity. Only solution i can think of is to dig/ butcher them out then as best i can, bog up hole and use bigger screws. (they were puny) Any better ideas anyone! Thanks

Piece of timber in the gap between top of dishwasher and underside of cabinet!

Perhaps a strip on thin steel along the cabinet edge longer than the existing bracket width, screwed on with several screws, then a couple of self tapping screws into the steel through the original bracket.

There's normally a little play in the area where the holes in the dishwasher are, can you skew another screw in beside the broken one or move the dishwasher forward/back slightly to miss the old broken screw! The problem with digging the old one out (making a bigger hole)and bogging, is you're asking the bogged area to hold the screw. Make the new screw stainless steel if possible.
