Uggh yes it dose, skin cancer is another kettle of fish, our cells in our body repares itself from being blasted by the suns radiation, internally, you are thinking about holes in our ozone layer makeing our skin get cancer, your whole body absorbs the suns emf, and regenerates at night ready for the next day, and it is use to NO emf feilds, when it starts to repair itself, picking up small amounts compared to the sun can trick the body into not going into repair mode.

And if you try and there is a ground fault somewhere you will be dead. And if there is a big ground fault and your piece of wire heats up and sets fire to something the results will be interesting.
The earth wire and rod is a critical part of the building's electrical system, you need qualifications to fiddle with it.

I doubt it would cost much, i wont attempt it myself, but will see if it can be done when the place gets rewired, it will need doing soon.
