Repainting colorsteel advice? Watyl solarguard tell me you can use their product without a primer as it is prepriming. Resene say their paint will peel without one. So my question is. has anyone painted a colorsteel roof with wattyl with only their self-priming paint, did you have any adhesion issues?

suppose you really have to ask yourself do you want to do the job twice or have it only last half the time you expected?
personally I would prime first, one coat primer, 2 coats of colour, you are going to get a better result with that extra coat anyway

We used Steelite, one coat wonder blue over white, needs doing every 5 years or so to keep it bright and fresh. Husband is washing it down now ready for painting. Good Luck.
