Westinghouse Dishwasher not heating

We have a Westinghouse SB915 Dishwasher (2005) that was used rarely for the first 10 years. This past year we've been using it daily and all was well, clean and dry dishes, until about 2 months ago. Dishes are clean but not dry. Googled and seems the most common problem is a burn spot on the circuit board. Accessed the circuit board and no burn spots or anything else that looked out of place. Reassembled and first load seemed to be back to normal and dry. BUT subsequent loads are not completely dry and hubby says that he checked at different times of the cycle and the water was only warm and the fan dry isn't nearly as hot as it used to be. Have tried adding rinse aid which sort of helps but still not dry. Hubby is thinking thermostat issue but no idea where it might be located.

Any suggestions on where to look or what might be the problem?

It will either heat up or not heat up at all. Never heard of one only getting warmish. Put it on a fast cycle. On that cycle it heats the water on the first wash. Check after 5 or so minutes to see if water is getting hot.

So if it isn't heating it's either the element or the thermostat. If you are DIY then check it with a multimeter and buy the needed part.
if not, ring an appliance repair person
