I have mine still in the ground! pulled one Elephant one out but it feels like it has no cloves as such just a big bulb normal! I have let them poke up their seed heads and then have pulled those off so they have not flowered.

Congrats on the great garlic, mine are terrible this season, pulled a couple up the other day and they each had two miserly cloves.
Well done! I haven't dared pull mine up yet, I will wait till the greenery dies back I think.
