When is the best time to transplant feijoa trees ? Mine are about 1m high had a good crop, but are far too close together.

You could do it now, just dig wide around the one you are moving and try not to cut through roots. I have moved one successfully at this time of year.

I would do it now, before they start flowering

I moved some about 2 weeks ago & so far so good. The soil is still damp here, but if you are in doubt, keep the water up to them for a while. Good luck.

Yeah, I'd do it now at the latest, before they start shooting new growth.
The moved tree will take a hit this season and not produce much, but it should survive and recover in season or 2.
