Get him to fit one of those interchangeable towballs 1-7/8" / 50mm. Then leave the actual balls at home so that no trailer can be towed.

The foreman at my husbands old work in Otorohanga (waikato) was only on $23 p/h! Needless to say my husband left shortly after his apprenticeship was up.

What worksafe plan. Most builders laugh when their apprentices cut themselves or have some other "minor" accident - no records kept.
