Expansion foam or builders bog

If you have some rotten timber on the window frame that cannot be replaced, ), What would you do to fill up the rotten cavity (2cm deep, 1 cm wide and 3m cm long)!

I usually fill the inside with foam and the other layer with builder's bog. What would you do! A friend of mine recommends that I fill it up with sealant.

clean all the rot out, then fill it with builders bog, sand and paint, not sealant

Bog - the problem with many foams is that they can continue to grow

There isstuff that you paint on to stop the rot which you need to do before you fill the hole or else the rot will continue to eat away from the inside.

Green Metalex kills rot pretty well, but dig out all the rotten bit first.
If it's the frame, why not chop out a rectangular piece and put some H3 timber in there, and fix it for good. That's a chance to use the Renovator saw!

Dig out the rotten timber with a very sharp chisel and replace it with wood, glued in.its the only way to go.
