on the weeds maybe, but if you spill it its stains for ever and if you get it on your skin then it stains that for ages and also transfers to your food so is quite a toxic thing to be using, im an agrichemical contractor and will never use the stuff, paint a map in my head and ii have never missed anything

Weeds? Do people really fuss about the ground cover they have? I like daisys, they're pretty, flower for ages, require minimal care, bees like them. Ditto buttercups.
The grass we have is a mixture, kikuyu, pretty bullet proof really, even in dry summers, couch, and I don't know what it is, fluffy grass.
But who cares? The mower keeps them all under control. In fact if it wasn't a waste of time (neighbours have the same so it would come back), I'd remove the lawn and grow thyme or Roman Chamomile instead. Then no need for any mowing at all.

We use just straight table salt on the weeds mainly dandelions. They are dead over night and you can see where you have applied it. Buy it in bulk from Bin Inn and top up your salt container and apply.
Bought a small salt container as the grandchildren love to help too.
