Can anyone suggest a product/supplier for a new build where I require the external cladding and roof to be in a matt finish navy blue? It appears the traditional aluminium cladding/coloursteel products do not do "bright" colours due to "fading" issues.

Yes and the colour you are wanting will most likely fade .

Pacific coil coaters (PCC) provide the widest range of colour options in NZ Find it under the colorcote range. Navy blue isn't what I'd call bright however.

Seen a roof done in a bright blue colour the other day. Just stunning. Want the same for our roof when we get around to painting.

It appears there is no problem with the wall cladding for my colour selection - it is just the coloursteel roofing.
There are “designer “ colours that they don’t put on the regular colour charts for Joe Public. I’m very confident they make what you want, but they normally require a fair sized order. If it’s very small quantities, consider powder coating. Just drill the holes first
