Anybody with any long term experience with this product. Does it stay clearOK, what about cleaning! What do you use. Planning to use this as a patio cover.

unfortunatly 99% of these products either go yellowy or cloudy white over time. a cheap one may stay clear for 3-5 years and an expensive maybe 5-7. not easy to clean either as not really made to stand on

I'm aware that they can lose their clarity after a while but some do come with guarantees - are you saying that the guarantees are worthless!Have you used this product or something very similar!Can understand that you cannot walk on it.

not sure about the product you are using but alot are from overseas and not designed for our uv rays etc. also the guarantees are not very long so would probly be over by the time it starts to deteriorate

Not very sureclangie's comments are very helpful as he doesnt know the product. Alysonite is a well known brand marketed I believe by Laserlite.I dont think ANY polycarbonate sheeting is manufactured in NZ. SO they all come from overseas -but i'm sure the importers would specify to NZ's UV requirementsand some have 10 year guarantees provided they are installed according to the correct methods.

Alsyonite is a quality product,based in Hamilton,their polycarbonate is as good as you will get,it will have a limited lifetime guarantee if properly installed and maintained. I would expect a realistic life of at least 20 years.
