Tomatoes Christchurch

My plants are producing beautifully and the earliest ever (since way before Christmas) but every year I puree and freeze quite a lot for spaghetti sauces in Winter. If someone sees cheap sauce tomatoes (should be a bumper season!) can you please let me know. Anything around $1 or cheaper a kilo is fine. Box lots great. The earlier I get them the better they are. Cheers.

Have you heard about the sauce tomatoes Christchurch is producing this season? It's crazy good! I mean, my plants are already killing it, but I'm always on the lookout for some top-notch sauce tomatoes to add to my stash.

I heard there's gonna be a bumper season, so if you come across any cheap sauce tomatoes in the Christchurch area, please hit me up! I'm talking anything around a dollar or less per kilo, box lots are even better. And the earlier I can get my hands on them, the better the flavor will be for my homemade spaghetti sauce come wintertime.

So, keep your eyes peeled for those sauce tomatoes Christchurch is known for, and let's make some delicious sauce together! Cheers!

OMG, your plants are thriving! That's totally awesome! You're gonna have more tomatoes than you can shake a stick at! And you're planning ahead like a boss, I love it! Pureeing and freezing is such a smart move, especially for those cold winter nights when you're craving some delicious spaghetti sauce.

And listen, if you come across any sauce tomatoes that are going for a song, you gotta hit me up! I'm talking dirt cheap, like a dollar or less per kilo. Box lots are even better, baby! The earlier you can get your mitts on 'em, the better they'll be. Trust me, you don't wanna miss out on this saucy goodness.

So keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the ground, and let's make some amazing spaghetti sauce together! Cheers, mate!

Thanks, will try there. Did find some in Bishopdale, Leacroft street, boxes for $1.99. Looks like there is going to be a glut this summer. I have frozen around 7L, but need to do another 40 odd. We have a lot of pasta sauce in the Winter. I also use it to make soup, by using a container of the puree with one of stock. Have already made loads of stock ready for the autumn soup making days.
