hi i have a old masport 804 side throw with the series 2 iron horse engine i,m replacing with a late model briggs and stratton engine and need to source the adapter witch takes it from the large engine hole to the standard smaller hole to fit the body ,its been a few year since i,ve seen these but thought someone might have the adapter plate that they could please put on trade me and i could buy many thanks

Try a reputable lawnmower shop. not Bunnings or Mitre10.

Proper lawnmower shops often have a "wrecking Yard" where they keep useful bits and pieces. If you can find one of those Steptoe type shops they are sure to have the bit you need. Trouble is that it's such a throw away world that most people just chuck it out now rather than try to do what you are doing.
