Hi, how do I prepare a top loading washing machine for transport inter city. Do I need the Pins/Bolts and where do I get those. Does it need to be upright? And what packing would you recommend. Thanks!

If you are only moving and it wont be in storage just pack a towel between the bowl and top so its stable and keep it upright. If its going into storage make sure its dry, because mine was packed and wrapped wet and was really mouldy inside when I got it back.

As I recall, when I moved my F&P smartdrive there was a plastic thingee that went in the top that stopped the bowl hitting the sides when moving. I imagine you could make something similar out of stiff cardboard. I also recall that I may have done something underneath to stabilise the bowl. I recall some light ropes being used. Perhaps contact the manufacturer or NZ agent for advice.
