I am after 4 very small micro-springs. Think of half the size of a ball point pen spring but shaped like a wooden mouse trap spring --- for replacing broken springs in an upright Piano. It is not worth anything. It plays OK --- but 2 keys have this broken spring and don't play. I have pulled it apart (very easy) and these springs are relatively easy to replace. We were quoted roughly $200 to $300 to repair it. I just need the springs made (hopefully in ChCh there is someone who does this privately) I used to work with a gentleman who made small springs but I believe he sold all his mandrills etc to someone in ChCh -- the original person had really reasonable prices for making small springs.
Yes! they look like those ones. Thank you very much! I will need to ask then a question as I believe the ones I need are 25mm long. They are a bit vague on if this length is to the end of the hook or beginning of hook. It is an old (about 80 to 100 years old) H Kriebel Berlin piano

Is there a Piano Tuner about in your area? They might just have some or know where to get them maybe.
Other option perhaps use the springs from each end of the keyboard (those keys dont get used all that much in some cases never).

Goggle Century Springs. they are yank company that made a hugh range of springs, Bunnings & M10 stock some of the more popular sizes and shape. also most engineering supply companies can order them in from the nz agent. just look throu the list of what is available and match up the specifications with the one you want.
