Spring bulbs.

I am in the process of digging up pots of bulbs that didn't flower last year. No wonder they had gone to the bottom of the pots. They have got roots on them. Do I leave them out of the ground for a while or plant them straight away? I am concerned about the roots. Will they still grow again if the roots dry up?

should be OK. The packets of bulbs that you buy have got dried roots.

Thanks, you are right. Should I protect them from the sun do you think?

If you're not going to replant them straight away, put them in a cool dark place. But it is fine to replant them now if you want to. But don't leave them out in the hot sun, they will cook.
