Extractor fan - Is one needed with showerdome

Some times we use the bath some times we use the shower. No set routine. If we add a shower dome, do we still need an extractor fan for when we use bath, or does extractor fan become obsolete? In other words is the extractor fan really used more so just for the shower?

After installing yr shower dome, observe wether there is much steam in general when having a bath and decide then if a fan is required.

I would still use an extractor fan. When I have a deep soak the walls can condensate a lot and it is annoying wiping the walls down with a dry towel.

depends on amount of condensation

Certainly doesn't do any harm having an extractor fan installed may do harm if you haven't got one, in some circumstances it is a legal necessity to have one, especially if there is no other way of ventilation.
There is a lot of condensation when running a lovely hot deep bath !

Do you also have a loo in the bathroom? If so, (we do) an extractor fan is a good idea
