Hi - have taken a dishwasher to the bach and got a quote to install it - $200- $300. The dishwasher is approx 2m from the supply pipe and approx 3m from the waste pipes (the kitchen sink ones being the closest). Access is under the floor which is exposed and high enough to stand under - house is on poles. Power supply is already there. Does that price seem excessive or am I just being unrealistic? How hard are they to install if I were to try myself?

That seems reasonable, how far does the plumber have to travel? If you want it cheaper do it yourself! All the bits are available from Placemakers or the like.

Thanks - travel is about 12km - on state highway. Approx how much would the parts - pipes etc be from Placemakers do you think?

I got one installed a few months ago cost $300, pipes had to go 1m away from sink, had to get under house, crawling room only.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
