They work very well, friend of mine got one recently, from these guys. He cylinder is 135l, there were 4 people in house then.

If you replace the shower head with a mains pressure one, you'll probably use less water anyway. low pressure shower heads and roses go through a lot of water volume to make up for a lack of pressure.
tempted to do a booster pump as well when we renovate the bathroom. won't to a mains pressure cylinder because I don't trust our old plumbing.

Yes I have used one as an electrician for my rural property and found them good. They use a flow switch to detect HOT demand, and then kick in the pump. I had low pressure mains HW so was good until I converted to gas heating on mains pressure. Mine helped alot.
