We had some interior painting done last February by a well respected painting company. In one area we had some stains caused by a leaking Robocan insect spray dispenser. We pointed this out and they said they would use a good sealer in this area, which seemed to have worked initially, but the stains are now starting to come through. The sealer has worked on the door frame but not on the gib. Anything else that can be tried?

Yes,bin ( brand name ) pigmented sealer never had a fail yet,comes in a spray can as well as cans,for a small job the spray can would work well,after using turn upside down & depress the button,clears the nozzle fir next use otherwise it will clog up.

On Gib we have cut out the area affected. then re plastered

Bad staining may require 2-3 coats of BIN
