Stains on bath---advise please

shirley229, Dec 17, 7:03am
Have just bought a house and the bath is very stained under the taps. Can anyone suggest how to remove as the bath itself is still good and would hate to try to get it out.

Try a product called CLR - you can get it from hardware stores.Spray on, leave for a few minutes & wipe off.Seems to work on most things

Thanks for all ideas. My neigbour suggested baking soda mixed to a paste with white vinigar so have layered it on and will wait to see the results in the morning.

Try hydrogen peroxide. They sell small bottles at the chemist.Use a small paintbrush to cover the area. Our enamel bath was heavily stained and this worked a treat.

Some things will eat into the surface on enamel and leave tiny holes.Peroxide or one of those false teeth whitening tabs or powder might work. with out seeing how bad the stain is it is hard to know

Toothpaste and lots of rubbing will work.
