they do usually have that bend in the bottom to allow the pipe to exit the taps and then lay flat up the wall although if the rose is pointed roughly where it should be and that lower bend is still there they will bend quite easily, place it across a chair cushion so both ends are high and push downon the ends ( it is usually a copper pipe with chrome finish and bends easily ) so yeah take it to the kitchen, or take a chair to the bathroom

cheers, but unfortunately the bend for pipe to exit taps isn't the issue, take another look at that second pic .
the whole up-pipe bends way to one side . how far out of shape its now, compared with the (carefully measured!) parallel curtain tracks i've laid it on is pretty terrible.
thinking about laying it on cushions is an option but worries me because i can't figure out exactly where on the pipe i should try to bend it.
