Has anyone had a toilet and wash basin installed in there garage? About how much did it cost?

A lot if your garage is below the level of your waste pipe. My neighbour had to put in a pump.

I think if you are in ohakune the council fees for a toilet are $6000 or something ridiculous like that, prob the most expensive in NZ

During the quakes, much of CHCH dug an outhouse and built a shelter. Worked a treat and didn't cost $6,000. Now only sign of it is a slight dip in the lawn.

We have an ex campervan toilet in our carport shed - has come in handy when Council goofed up the drainage last year.

Toilet rooms are the single most expensive room for size in any house. It also attracts the biggest council fee's
