You can certainly get spray cans of high temp paint to re-finish painted log-burners, flues etc, but I assume that the Kent may have a high temp annealed enamel finish rather than paint - in which case I think you're going to be out of luck - unless you strip it down and have the enamel sandblasted off first.

The old ones had vitreous enamel doors and ashpan fronts and the side panels were painted, according to my husband who used to work for a company that enamelled and painted the parts for Kent.
