Stainless steel

Hi, we have a polished s/steel laundry tub 2 or 3 years old. Has scratches which can't be felt but clearly visible. Any ideas how to tidy up much appreciated.

Most quality stainless tubs and sinks will be solid stainless and not plated, in which case they can be hand sanded with emery paper. Start with about 400 grit and finish with 1200 grit.

Polaris makes a 'stainless steel reviver - I've bought it at supermarkets, to use on my stainless steel bench. it's like this -

That's what I would have suggested too. It's marvellous on copper-bottomed pots as well.

LMAO Good grief, it;s a LAUNDRY TUB.
IF . I must polish stainless kitchen gear, I simply use a soapy "Steelo" pad

I agree with Polaris it does a very good job and does not differentiate between laundry tubs and benches. Give it a go I use it on mine as it gets used for all sorts of nasty things, mostly paint trays and brushes and it comes up fine.

So WHAT if it's 'just' a laundry tub? I think I'll go and get some stainless steel reviver too, for MY laundry tub!

The Dr. Power cleaner from the Warehouse makes a good job of Stainless. Or good old fashioned Vim scouring powder.

I have been trying to buy stainless Steel Reviver But can't find it at count down or P N S. Any one know who stocks it? I have used before & found it very good.
