Needs Epsom salts, sprinkled on ground, out to edge of root ball - about full width of tree.If dry, water it in.My Dad used to save his pee, and put it under the lemon tree.

Without sounding crude, have any males in the house occasionally pay the tree a visit when they wish to pee! ( Night time best)!

nice link!

But, if you don't want to do that OP, then supply more info.
Is your lemon tree in a pot!How often and what do you feed it!How old is it!Is it too wet or too dry!
Epsom salts will help if all that is wrong is a lack of magnesium, but for a healthy tree you need to use a complete food, and there are plenty of special citrus ferts available.
Lemons have their roots very close to the surface so don't like to have other things planted around them.

Without any more info I suggest you water your tree well, give it some citrus fertiliser, water again and put a couple of inches of compost all around underneeath it.
