Needing ideas for an area that gets no moisture at all at the entrance of our home please. Looking for a modern look. Thanks

Well you might have to consider an irrigation system then. Given that nothing will survive no moisture at all!

Could you divert some water from a nearby guttering down pipe to dribble over this area?

Go to your library-there is an NZ book by ?Jane Taylor "The Dry Garden", you should get useful ideas from there.

I've got low growing succulents (there's heaps of varieties), and that begonia thing with the small red flower. nothing else copes - geraniums got white fly as there is no breeze.

Yukkas don't need a heap of water.

Succulents are great, will get all the moisture they need out of the air.
