I have an area of fence that needs a climber, perennial if possible, but not a take over type,already have sweet peas, would like pink or blue shades to blend in with the rest of the garden. Last winter we got badly affected by frosts so something not likely to be affected.

Clematis? I grew some in the UK - they die back in the winter and start over. Just cover the roots with a thick mulch.
