Guys- the shower started leaking a few days back. We've stopped the water by closing the shower head between settings. Today I removed the old cartridge and replaced it with an identical one. Damn thing is still leaking. Asked the guys at Mico whether I needed to use silicon grease on anything, but they did not think that was necessary. Any suggestions? Don't want to replace the mixer as it means pulling half the liner away! Cheers

Can we have a picture/make/model of the shower

Probably no limiting valve on incoming watermain and water pressure too high.

I thought of that too, but it has been fine for the 4 years we have lived here. Does mains pressure vary? Thanks,
