Replacement wheels for vac cleaner 60-70mm dia ?

thetechman, Jan 7, 12:22am
Very elderly rellies had a breakin (more likely left the garage door unlocked) - all that was stolen was the wheels off their Hoover upright vacuum cleaner . . . dam' strange I thought . . .

They would be 60-70mm diameter with holes 8mm ( that's the wheels, not the rellies) - probably nylon or tough plastic.
Any ideas where to track 2 down?

TIA

ps Have tried Godfreys and vac cleaner dealers - no joy.

Get on the phone and try the recycle centres , amazing what you can find there.

Thanks for suggestions folks.

@morrisjvan: OK, so it was YOU.
If the front wheels on your 1954 model J van (with the sliding door that sticks every 4th time) vanish, it's because they have been whizzed away and turned down on a large lathe to help certain pore ole pensioners . . .
