Very elderly rellies had a breakin (more likely left the garage door unlocked) - all that was stolen was the wheels off their Hoover upright vacuum cleaner . . . dam' strange I thought . . .
They would be 60-70mm diameter with holes 8mm ( that's the wheels, not the rellies) - probably nylon or tough plastic. Any ideas where to track 2 down?

ps Have tried Godfreys and vac cleaner dealers - no joy.
Hard bits to get, i couldn't find any for mine .so broke into a garage and flogged the wheels off someone else's.

Get on the phone and try the recycle centres , amazing what you can find there.

@morrisjvan: OK, so it was YOU. If the front wheels on your 1954 model J van (with the sliding door that sticks every 4th time) vanish, it's because they have been whizzed away and turned down on a large lathe to help certain pore ole pensioners . . .
