What NZ wild greens/weeds can be eaten?

Onion Weed!
The flowers are great in salads. They have a slight garlicky taste.
Try dipping them in a very light tempura batter and frying them. Yum!
When the plants mature you can use the little onions in omelets, salads, soups, pickled. There are usually gazillions around in late winter. Fill your boots!

As a kid in europe, I remember Dad asked me to collect stinging nettles .The young tender leaves,cooked up like spinach.Also wild hops grew there,which tasted a bit like asparagusThey made use of them during the hard times.
