blurry pic, but could be psyllid - it can cause brown bits in spuds.

Thanks Tonijo. It is really annoying. We have dug several roots - Cliffs Kidney. They were certified seed potatoes. What causes psyllid and how do you get rid of it.

or maybe too much or not enough water while growing
