I put mine in couple weeks ago.left it a bit late for xmas lunch.but with weather warming up have already got greenery showing .once they start up they go fast

You can plant potatoes up untill Feb, depending on what part of the country yr in. They take approx 3 months, although some here in the past have said they were ready in 5 weeks, which i find total bollocks. Frost is your enemy,as they will kill off the tops over night. Dont forget to water often once they are growing, otherwise with the hot days of summer[yeah right] you end up with dry horrible spuds.
