should the hrv system turn off if there is a power outage?the key board is blank.a repairman will be here in 10 days and they have a work shop 3 ks away.not happy with the service but hrv does what they claim.

But your first question's answer is "yes", they run on power. We have had ours go blank every now and then, they are man made. Over all, after 6-8 yrs service, very happy.

Had our dvs since 2007 and works perfectly. Change filter annually.

Have you rung your friendly local electrician, it may have tripped a fuse when the power came back on. Just because HRV supplied the unit it does not follow they are the only one's who can service it.

yes i am not that silly,the power has been restored & hrv will not restart.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
